Most Syrians are very proud of their vehicles, you can feel how much love they put in them, like on this particular case. IMG_3480.jpg: How houses grow up when the business or the family expands. IMG_3478.jpg: This shop has specialized into inflating tires. |

A Brand New Mosque
I had the chance to enter an "under
construction"
mosque located right at the door of Micheleb. |

Micheleb IMG_3599.jpg: A bread machine. Yes, not everything is handcrafted. IMG_3917.jpg: As you surf these pages, this coffee pot is probably hot and ready. Syrians serve it from dusk till dawn. IMG_3393.jpg: A little piece of advice, on your next trip to Syria, remember to bring twice as many socks as usual. Syrian are so friendly, you won't use your shoes so much :-) |

Around Micheleb - Tal Al-Bayaa Take a closer look at IMG_4120, those pieces of pottery lie everywhere under your feet. They have been used, maybe 4000 years ago. IMG_4050, IMG_4057.jpg: Why these rather hugly images? In order to be fair, I felt I had to present some of the less enjoyable sceneries you will also pay attention to. Depending of the country you will come from. Me? Switzerland, so it was not too hard to notice :-) |
