Amazing to see a number of mobile devices with built-in 3G support in a land where GPRS is hardly available.

Umayyad Mosque

To visit the beautiful Umayyad Mosque the visitor must remove her or his shoes. In the winter time, those with cold feet should not plan a long visit, or have a pair of think warm socks handy :-)
